![]() Through the years Greg supported Younglife, Junior Achievement, Habitat for Humanity and Hospital Hospitality House. He gave back to his community as a member of the Board of Directors at STARS Nashville. He was an active member of the church and enjoyed spending time with the men in his life group. Greg was a member of Cross Point Church where he volunteered on the churches media team. He was at his happiest as long as he was surrounded by family and some loud music. Greg loved attending the University of Tennessee Volunteers football games, taking any opportunity he could to see live music, and was an avid fan of Professional Wrestling. Greg enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing, vacationing at the beach, and listening to music at his pool. Although Greg had success at each position the people and life long friendships made at each company were most important to him. Greg was Director, Fulfillment and Manufacture Operations at Dell, Senior Vice President of Operations-Contract Logistics at Genco Supply Chain Solutions, Senior Vice President Operations at Miraca Life Sciences, Global IT Director and Supply Chain Operations Management at General Motors and ended his career as CEO of Heartland Steel Products. After graduating in 1986, he began his career as a supervisor at Kaiser Roth Hosiery and held Operations Management positions at Modine Manufacturing, Formrite Corporation, Rockwell Automation and Nortel Networks. He graduated from Dobbins Bennett High School in Kingsport, TN in 1981 then went on to study Business Administration at The University of Tennessee, where he obtained his Bachelor’s Degree. Greg was born on September 5 th, 1963 in Elizabethton, TN to the late Phyllis Capps Kelly and Roger Flynn Kelly. and the family will receive friends and family after the service at Avid Holiday Inn, located at 75 Belinda Parkway Mount Juliet, TN from 5:30 -9:30 P.M. ![]() ![]() A visitation will take place prior to the service at 2:30 P.M. on February 11 th, 2023 at Cross Point Church-Mount Juliet, located at 85 Athens Drive Mount Juliet, TN 37122. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 4:00 P.M. We are saddened that we will be without him, but rejoice that he is now with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Gregory Dana Kelly passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on January 24 th, 2023 after a battle with cancer. ![]()
